Intentionally Untitled

So I haven't blogged in awhile. It is amazing how much time a almost 4 yr old and a 9 month old can take up! But I am not going to be a blog failure, so an update every now and then is better than none at all, right? RIGHT? That is what I thought. So, just what have we been busy doing in the last two months, you ask? Let's see....
We celebrated Easter. Did I mention is was somebody's first Easter?
We chillaxed in our flip flops during the gorgeous day-before-Easter weather.

We took a trip to Silver Dollar City and rode a TRAIN!

We dressed up in matching colors for church. I love my Boys!
We played a mean game of T-ball. Ok, we mostly sat in the dirt and drew pictures with our fingers. But, we are getting better!!

And, that is a quick wrap up of the last 2 months. There is tons more, but I will just stop here! :)

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This week, I...

  • Did not start a diet 4 times in a row, because the dinner options were just too good to resist. Today is most certainly not day 5 to start....

  • Did not consume probably a whole weeks worth of calories in one setting by enjoying not one, but two lovely piles of herb butter on my steak at Wiederkehrs Sunday evening.

  • Did not eat my words and trade off yet another vehicle. I have never said, say 10 months ago, that we were keeping what we had until the wheels fall off.

  • Did not lounge in front of the tv holding Squeezy (Ethan) the majority of Sunday morning, then claim he was fussy as the excuse for no housework getting done.

  • Did not tell Kaden that Church was closed when we got around too late and missed it, just so he would stop crying. He did not tell on me for fibbing by calling his grandpa and telling him it was ok to come pick him up, because the church was closed.

  • Did not put Ethan in a diaper that was a size bigger than he normally wears just so we could maybe get another couple hours of sleep that night. Bigger diapers do not hold more between changings!

WHat did you not do this week?

What a week!

Do you know what that is?? It was breakfast...until I let it burn beyond recognition! And that, folks, is why I am banned from the kitchen! That was first thing last week, which led to a series of crazy events around here! Here is a run-down:
My precious baby boy (which he corrects me now when I say that "No,no, I not big boy, I Kadenafanielmays") fell face first off a deck and had a battle with the concrete below. It won. His reasoning for falling? He was "wooking at a wight up in da sky". Seems important enough, I guess....

And of course, it was Valentines!! Here is my morsels looking rather lovey in their V-Day attire:
And Kaden got ahold of my camera after I dosed off was hard at work and took some random (ok, about 32 random) shots of his fav things around the house (shown is Smart CYcle handlebar, my VD flowers, & and his new Thomas the Tank Engine socks he got from Nanny & PawPaw for VD) . Rather talented, I say!

Then, what wraps a week up better that a little trip to Chuck E Cheese's?! In matching outfits of course (I wonder how long it will be before they make me stop doing that??).

Awww, good times!

Not Me! Monday

Another edition of Not Me! Monday is here...
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
  • I did not make high accusations that Ethan's tummy problems were from MIL feeding him improper foods. And he did not prove me majorly wrong by getting sick in my care.
  • I did not stomp on that stupid spider ring from last weeks post, which did not travel to MY bedroom floor. I did not think this was a a cause/effect from not picking it up last week...
  • I did not let Kaden eat a dinner roll and chocolate milk for breakfast, simply because there was no time to prepare anything.
  • He did not have erratic behavior at MDO for throwing sand in Mason's face, who, actually pushed him down first...luckily he really did not get in trouble since she started it.
  • Hubby did not have to bust my big plans to put this said Mason in her place for pushing my baby down. Apparently, since Mason is 4, and it is not only illegal, but morally wrong, to do such a thing......
  • I did not sit and daydream over what kind of cleats and other assorted gear we must get Kaden for T-Ball this spring. I most certainly did not make a list of said items, so the moment we I get the team colors, we can go shopping.

Blehhh...

Blehhh. That is the way I feel right now. This week has been the week from you know where....first I got "in trouble" at work (yes, I am 27 and a grownup, but those kinds of things really bother me....it is all part of my Pleasing People 24/7 plan....). Then Ethan got some sort of odd stomach bug. That is the only thing I can think of that it would be...no fever, just continous poo diapers (did I just type that?!?!). Kaden played outside for approx. 30 minutes and came in (ok, drug in) madder than a wet cat, with his allergies in full force. (Side note: Dimetapp caused an entire night of uninteruppted sleep from him!). I missed my niece's cheerleading show at halftime. I gained 3 lbs in our Biggest Loser contest at work. I had plans with a bestie of mine, ony to drive all the way up there and both of us felt horrid (her-stomach bug, me-headache). So we only got to visit a short time. And she couldn't even love on my precious little morsel Ethan. Which leads me to now....the headache escaladed into congestion, coughing that feels like knives in my throat, and a low temp. Super way to wrap up a weekend! However, MIL kept the kids all day and tonight, so I got plenty of rest! YAY! However, now matter what the weeks holds, I am blessed in the sense that I get to come home to this:
And, to this:

Ok, maybe the week wasn't that bad at all.........

Nope, not me....

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I have not been meaning to post a Not Me! for quite sometime, and this is most certainly not my first time...
I did not hide the last can of soda (which is a rare treat in our house) behind a large jar of salsa on the second shelf, in the back of the fridge, to prevent anybody else from drinking it. I would never kick back and thoroughly enjoy my cold refreshing soda alone, when nobody is home. No, not me!
I did not fall asleep with Lil’Bit’s paci in my mouth, and I certainly did not put a subconscious death grip on it when Hubby tried to remove it. That’s gross.
I did not, in a moment of desperation, hold Kadens chicken nugget out the window, while driving down the interstate, to get it to cool off faster. He was not throwing a complete fit in the backseat for one of his nuggets. That would attract many unwanted germs.
I did not try to stomp a plastic spider ring leftover from Halloween that was lying in my kitchen floor EVERYTIME I walked by it. I most certainly did not forget that 10 min earlier I had already tried to kill it, but instead of picking it up, just left it.
I did not announce to my hubby in the middle of CHuck E Cheese's that I was going to the Dr first thing Monday morning for birth control. The screaming, snotty, germy children running a muck in there was not more than I could handle. And I most certainly did not bribe Kaden & my niece with a new toy of their choice from Toys 'R Us if they left CHuck E Cheese's peacefully 10 minutes after arriving.
I did not LOL when Kaden announced he wanted to go to the car wash instead of the toy store.

What didn't YOU do this week?

When Daddy is Away....

Mommy & Kaden will play! Because of the crazy-potentially-freezing weather we have been having, DH has had to work some extra this week. So, as soon as he said "goodbye", we started a fun-filled evening that, at almost 11 p.m., is still going strong! What, you ask, does one do when Daddy is away? Well, we:
Get a new pet alligator named Wizard (not sure about why we chose wizard....). We check on him (meaning we stick our hands in the water to "feel" if he has grown) every 20 min.

Then, we drag out our ginormous Thomas coloring book and color....in the middle of the den floor.

Finally, we build a complete town for Thomas and his friends, using every destination and piece of track that we own, including "water" (a cut-up blue plastic tablecloth).

Did you notice what was in the middle of the town we built? A WAL-MART! Like father, like son, I guess!

Now there is a little boy who crashed in the middle of his town, so, off to bed we go!
